Logo Design & Visual Identity for Signal & Wave
Signal & Wave is an international artist agency based in Berlin, primarily representing talent in the indie and experimental music scenes. They approached me to create a logo that reflected their passion for minimalist, timeless design, while still incorporating a bold, contemporary twist. A strong preference for blue as the primary accent color guided the overall look and feel.
I developed a visual identity centered on clean typography and subtle details designed to echo the creative sensibilities of the artists and audience they serve.
The final identity took shape through the following key deliverables:

Wordmark
A sleek, minimal sans serif treatment of the name “Signal & Wave,” capturing an enduring and versatile style. -
Symbol
A unique mark combining the letters “S & W” within an asymmetrical circular shape, adding a distinctive edge to the design. -
Icon
A simplified circular version of the symbol, ideal for social media profiles and other applications requiring a compact brand mark.
The resulting identity blends timeless simplicity with a touch of boldness – aligning well with Signal & Wave’s commitment to innovative artistry.
