Tjing Open Norway – Disc Golf Event Visual Identity
Tjing is the official app of the Swedish Disc Golf Association. It’s a competition and practice tool for all disc golfers.
The crew at Tjing approached me to design the visual identity for their Tjing Open Norway event, taking place at the Østgaardskogen course in Halden, Norway, 13–14 April 2024.
The assignment included designing an emblem for the event and disc artwork for a limited run of putter discs included in the player packages given to the contestants. We learned that large continuous printed/stamped areas on the disc could result in poor printing, so I designed an alternative inverted artwork for the discs with less color coverage.
The emblem contains mountains and a river as an hommage to the beautiful scenery of Norway.
